CHILDREN AND YOUNG FAMILIES Ministry

We believe that parents are the first and most effective communicators of the gospel to their children. Therefore, we focus on equipping and training parents to guide their children toward the gospel by word, actions, and prayer. In our Sunday morning Kid's Worship and Disciple Groups, we desire to support and supplement what is being taught and practiced at home.

FIRST TIME AT FBC LONGVIEW?

On your first visit, look for the 747 Kids desk. You’ll be greeted by kids ministry team member who are excited to meet your family. During check-in, we will have you fill out a registration card for your whole family and one of or team members will direct you and your child to the age-appropriate classrooms. You and your child will both get a sticker tag with a matching number. After service, you will need to present your tag in order to pick up your child.

We would love to see you and your family at FBC Longview this weekend!

Elementary

[Kindergarten - 5th grade]

747 Kids combines both large and small group times to teach biblical truths in an age appropriate environment.

  • During the 9:00 AM Disciple Group time preschoolers are in small group time.
  • During the 10:30 worship hour kids are divided by grade into small groups or disciple groups.

Preschool

[Birth - 5 year old]

We believe that the time spent at church is not just childcare but an opportunity to show Jesus' love to both adult and little one. Our littlest friends will hear about this love in a warm and safe environment where they will be free to dance and explore.

  • During the 9:00 AM Disciple Group time preschoolers are in small group time.
  • During the 10:30 worship hour all 3s - 5 yrs old's will have a large group worship time.

PARENT RESOURCES

The FBC Longview Children and Young Families Ministry desires to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children. One of the ways we do this is by pointing parents to quality resources to strengthen their parenting and family worship and equip them to have gospel conversations with their children.
