Men’s Gathering

Men’s Gathering at FBC Longview is a vibrant community for men ages 18 and up to build lasting friendships, grow deeper in their faith, and support one another through accountability. Meeting quarterly, we come together to encourage and inspire men to lead, serve, and connect in meaningful ways that extend beyond our regular gatherings.

Our ministry offers opportunities for short-term small group studies, outdoor adventures, and service projects within the church and wider community. Through these experiences, we’re strengthening brotherhood and equipping men to live out their calling as disciples of Christ.


VISION

Our vision is to foster a community of men at FBC Longview dedicated to authentic relationships and spiritual growth. We aim to empower men to lead small group studies, enjoy fellowship through activities like fishing and hunting, and engage in service projects. Together, we strive to develop Christ-like character, build a supportive brotherhood, and positively impact our families and community as we walk in faith.

Leadership and Involvement

The Men’s Gathering is led by Dan Margaris and Matt Harrison, who are dedicated to creating a Christ-centered space where men can grow in faith, friendship, and leadership. Together, they guide the vision, plan events, and foster a supportive community for men at every stage of life.

We believe real friendships are like good fishing stories—full of laughter and maybe a few tall tales. Whether we’re sharing breakfast or life’s challenges, we’re here to support each other through thick and thin (yes, even those questionable haircuts). So grab a plate, pull up a chair, and let’s build bonds as strong as our coffee—twice as bold!


Grow Spiritually
Through engaging discussions, short-term small group studies, and shared experiences, we encourage one another to explore Scripture and apply it to everyday life. As we grow spiritually, we become better equipped to lead, serve, and live like Christ—together.


How to Get Involved
Men’s Gathering typically meets quarterly—in March, June, September, and December. There’s no sign-up fee, no dress code, and no pressure—just come as you are and join the conversation. We’d love to have you with us!
