Service times, directions, and what to expect upon your first visit to FBC Longview

  • GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at First Baptist Church a great one!

  • Service times

    Prayer 8:00am

    First Service 9:00 am -10:15am

    Second Service 10:30- 11:45 am

We offer Sunday School classes for adults and children during both of our service times and classes for students (grades 6-12) during the second service time. Students are encouraged to worship during the first service.

  • HOw long is a service

Both of our services are each about 1 Hour and 15 minutes in length. Worship service kicks off with the FBC Longview Worship Band leading us in some exciting music. Song lyrics are projected onto two giant screens so you can sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of our worship service is complete, PC or one of our staff pastors will come out to share a Scripture-focused and hope-filled message about Jesus.

  • WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH?

We like to say that "Every Sunday is a fun day at FBC Longview." Fun translates to real and lasting transformation. So Sunday's at FBC Longview are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to have fun as our guest.

  • WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week! At FBC Longview we make this a priority. Let's talk about experiences for your kiddos.

JAM and JAM jr. are our children's church experiences. Our school-aged kids will join us for music time during our first worship service, then will move into their special JAM Room to experience continued kid-friendly worship time.

Sunday School is happening for all school-aged kiddos during the entire time of our second worship service. Well-trained teachers will spend time with your children to help with crafts, treats, and story times that explain Jesus and the Bible in an exciting way.

Preschool classes and nursery are available to your little ones during both worship services. You can check your little ones in with our loving experts at the "Preschool Desk" and know that they will be safe and cared for. That brings us to another element of the priority we place on children's ministry...

Part of our priority is making your child’s safety a top concern for us. That's why we have a check-in process for the children's programing at FBC Longview. The first time that you visit you’ll want to give yourself an extra ten minutes or so to get your little ones signed in to your children's ministry experience of choice.

Children's ministry experiences are designed to care for and teach your kiddo during both Sunday morning services and are open to children ages infant through Grade 5.
